St James PowerStation

Finally, i got to go to the newly open club opposite vivocity, St'James PowerStation. Went there with kk, shun li and shuhui.

It consists of a few clubs under it, St'James PowerStation is just the name of main club building. One of the primary clubs under it is known as the dragonfly (quite well-known), the place where i spent most of my time at.
Its just another club, kinda small and cramp inside though. The tiolet were small too, we actually have to go all the way up to 3rd level for tiolet, so weird....maybe we only know that tiolet location over there ba...LoLx!
There was also a live band held over there, from Chinese to English to Cantonese songs...
We saw ah xiong there too but i didn't managed to see alicia who was also at there with her friends at that time... MMmmm... we were like sms-ing each other, dunno where exactly we were at...coz both of us are newbies... Haha!

Hang out there till bout 2am++...Tired! Proceed our way back hm...

Im bored! Simply painly bored....

Dont' have the motivation & urge to get my work done. Just drag my day along to work, after work, make-up class....nothing for me to aim & achieve at all.
Motivation & determination together with my positive attitude are fading into the mist...aarrggghhhh... Am i growing old??? lol...

Suddenly miss back my school days, though no money but at least i knw im doing something meaningful & are of some purposes.
For examples, we had to go for lectures to learn as all those will be tested in exams...attend practical lessons to learn more things & gain knowledge or just to mingle ard with frenz, entertaining our lectureres..lol..either way, it was fun...

But what is my aim now leh??? *Lost...
So sianz de lor...

I am thinking of him....is he??
MmMMmmm...thoughts on my attitude towards him last night...am i that bad or rather is my attitude towards him is bad? Sometimes its really how i feel & i just say it out ma...
Haiz...aarrgghhh....
I think i shld be less sensitive, more understanding & take or see things not so seriously...

Boardgames day~

Today i played scrabble with dear n his sis!!
Haha...been really a long time since i last played this game. A rather interesting n educational game which we can play up to hours.
Trying to figure out a word whether it exists by checking the dictionary and competing with each other the points we had gained at the same time.
Fun & challenging... i love it! hee...

After that, we played the "fei ji qi" also...Haha! I actually forgot hw to play...just anyhow play n learn at the same time...
And surprisingly, im the winner for 2 or 3 subsequent games! Kekeke...
Maybe im innocent ba :p just play along and had no intention to kick the others back to their "home". (Meaning they have to restart all over again wor..)
But after some games, i decided to be evil...will be more fun then! Hahaha...

I found these 2 pics in my hp somehow...

Searching for the correct word using dictionary...

The alphabets in dear sis's hand if im not wrong...hee..

Bikers' nights out....

Went to yishun dam with the bikers at night.
Strong wind at first, followed by drizziling & then came the heavy rainfall.
OMG! It was so sudden that everyone cant get themselves protected with their raincoats. Everyone just ride their bikes off asap...
Noises were all i heard... "Oi...faster go, rain coming already...Start bike, start bike! Get going le..." Like as though some kind of disaster was coming..LOLx...
Luckily i managed to put on the raincoat & pants if not i dunno what state i will become. (It might look cool for guys to be drench but definately not for the girls.)

Got ourselves sheltered at an unknown nearby HDB void deck we saw at yishun. It was blk 866 if im not wrong.
Heavy rain didn't continue for long but drizziling of rain didn't ceased as well... Waited for quite sometime before we decided to put on our raincoats & whatsoever to battle against the rain again. Haa! Actually, its fun to get drench in the rain though..just that its abit obsence & not presentable (hen nan kan).
I mean what will passerby or people think or say if they saw some so-called crazy people strolling in the heavy rain?? Ya.. that's basically what i mean...hen nan kan lo...

Reached dear's home, got myself shower immediately. Changed, sat down for some curry puffs which dear had bought earlier in the noon. We watched dvd, the haunted school.
A rather lame movie with cantonese dialogues & english subtitles. Don't understand cantonese, so i had to read the subtitle & watched the movie at the same time. Troublesome.... In the end, dear fell aslp instead of me... =.='''

Slept at ard 3am++... ZZzzZZzzz...

We were still drenched even though with the raincoats on =.=

Dark Circle & Snoring Problem

Realise that my dark circles as well as puffines of eyes are getting out of hand. Omg!!
Really gotta do something out of it...
Surf the net for more informations and i found this:

Best home remedy for dark circles
The most effective remedy for dark circles is also the most cliche. Thin slices of cucumber applied to your eyes not only helps to lighten the skin, but also soothes and cools the eyes. This can be especially comforting if you've been up late the night before or your eyes are red and tired from allergies or staring at a laptop screen.
Lay down on your back (because it's easier to balance the cucumber slices that way). Lay thin slices of cucumber on your eyes, making sure they have contact with the skin under the eyes. Leave them on for 5-10 minutes. It's a good idea to set your alarm clock if you're doing this early in the morning. Be careful not to get cucumber juice in your eyes.

Tea bags as a remedy for dark circles
The caffiene in tea bags acts as a remedy for dark circles by diminishing puffiness. Caffiene in tea helps to diminish water in the tissues around the eyes (you'll notice that many early eye circle creams contain caffiene for this very reason). In addition, tea contains antioxidants that are beneficial to the skin.
Take a used tea bag (green, black or white) that's been squeezed out. Make sure it's cool! Leave it over your eyes for about 10 minutes. You'll see a noticeable improvement in puffiness and under-eye circles. Be careful not to get tea in your eyes.
Herbal tea bags are not useful as a remedy for dark circles, except for chamomile tea. Chamomile is an anti-inflammatory that can help reduce swelling and puffiness.

MMmmmm...maybe i should really try it. It is FOC anyway..hahahaa..

Another thing i would want to know more about is SNORING problem. Im rather curious over it. Partly because of someone else...who always snore...LOLx... :p

Some possible causes of snoring:

Heredity
The first cuase of snoring can be traced to your genetic makeup. One of the things that can lead to snoring problems in people is a narrow throat, which unfortunately is something that you can inherit from your ancestors. A narrow throat can be a big problem in relation to breathing.
Weight Gain
One of the snoring factors that is often overlooked is weight gain. Excessive weight can lead to fatty tissues beneath your skin. If this tissue is in the neck it can cause your throat to become smaller, contributing to a snoring problem.

Being male
Men have narrower air passages than do women and are more likely to snore
Age
As we get older, our throats can become narrower. Often during middle age, we can start to lose muscle tone in our throats which can lead to snoring problems. If these two factors are combined, it can be that much worse.
A history of smoking or exposure to secondhand smoke
Smoking relaxes muscles and also creates nasal and lung congestion. Exposure to secondhand smoke can cause the same snoring problems as smoking does.
Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol is a depressant and can lead to relaxation in your body. This can include the muscles in the throat and tongue and when they are more relaxed, there's a higher chance of snoring.
Medications
Some medications - antihistamines and sleeping pills in particular - can have the same relaxing effects as alcohol, leading to snoring problems.
Soft Pillows
Pillows increase the angle of your head and neck to the rest of your body, which can cause your throat to become partially obstructed.

And here are some of the self-help for snoring:

Sleep on your side
Sleeping on your back may cause the flesh of your throat to relax into your airway, so adjusting your sleeping position can alleviate snoring.
(Changing your sleep position may stop mild snoring, but severe snorers usually snore in any position.)

Sleep without a pillow
Try sleeping without a pillow; pillows can block your airway by bending your neck.

Eliminate smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke
Stopping smoking can help with the noise and intensity of your snoring. Also, reduce your exposure to secondhand smoke.

Avoid eating food or drinking alcohol before bed
Limit the intake of food or alcohol before bed; do not eat or drink heavily within three hours of your bedtime. These substances relax your muscles and increase the likelihood of snoring.

Avoid high-fat dairy milk products or soy milk products before sleeping
Non-skim milk products and soy milk products, because of their thickness, can keep mucus from draining properly. The result is mucus retained in the throat, which can lead to snoring.

Woah...looks like its really a long entry but a educational one! keke... I think its time for me to try out some of the recommended remedies and not forgetting to help my someone with the snore self-help. =)

-The Clinic-

Woo hooo...I finally went to "The Clinic"!!!
There was a Dosage party on the 15th of March.
Registered myself as a guest at www.afterhours.sg and i could bring 4 friends in for free =)
Being curious about that place, i went there with dear and also physco sharon & ah long to go. Hehehe...
In the end, physco success! They went with us too...kekez..

But to my disappointment, there was nothing much & not as fun as i thought it will be. Maybe its only the idea of another way of consuming the alcohol is unique & eye-catching.
At first i thought i could really sit on a wheel chair with nurse waitresses/waiters walking ard serving us...but duhz...nothing of that much, it's just another club with the special chilling area outside & their unique beverages.

I will rate it 6 */10*.

Not forgetting of the photo-taking part....

A sunny day out...

Meet up with Dear in the noon ard 1pm++. The weather was super hot & humid...
Accompany him to the bike shop to get his "botak" tyre changed and to settle his bike instalment and insurance. Yup..and this will be the time he will be struggling with his finances... Everything went budget..but what to do...No pain, no gain?? MmMMmm...nono..i think i shld say, have "no pay no gain"...no pay so no gain to a bike for him to travel around conveniently to anywhere at anytime =) He had his lunch there while waiting for his bike and as usual, i had a glass of my fav. avocado juice.

He wanted to watch a movie by the title, 300. The first thought that came to my mind,"what a weird title to have...". He told me that i might not like it cause it's a battle violence/action movie which most girls might not like it.

It's a movie based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller's (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.

W/o any hesitation, we proceeded down to PS to watch the movie, 300. Purposely went to golden village because dear got the safra card which can get a privilege of a max. 2 movie tickets at $8 each on weekend. Though not as cheap but still cheaper than usual :)

We couldn't get to catch the movie at 1610 as we took 15mins to queue for the tickets till we had exceeded the time...actually queued from 1600 to 1615..Omg! Was wondering which is the main movie that attrated so many people, or is it the place that the cinema is located at?? =.='''
Anyway, we bought 2 tickets for the movie at 1820. Walked ard at PS..nothing much that really attracted me. MmMMmm...

After movie, we have no ideas where to go so i suggested to go Cosy Bay for some chill out. Hee...since both of us were still not hungry for dinner too :p
Took lotsa of pics over at Cosy Bay..on the other hand, we are also trying out my "new" 2nd-hand cam which i had bought. =)
An one month old canon ixus izoom for $150... from $200 to $150...Mmmm..i guess it is quite reasonable price for a second-hand camera.
I think we are crazy over taking pics..at the same time we were also exploring the functions & figuring it all out through the complicated settings of the camera...
The more we discover, the more pics we took..haha!
All pics containing just the 2 of us.. From self-taking pics to individual pics to timer-setting pics of ourselves! It was fun though crazy as we mugged at the camera :p
Love him lotsa...for accompany me, taking pics with me as and when i love it, bear with my nonsenses & craps...hee...and vice-versa, he should love me like i do.. ;)

Our stomachs started to "make noise" after that...meaning..they're calling for food! Not intending to dine at the cosy bay cafe as the menu didn't attracted the both of us, we decided to go down to geylang for our dinner cum supper!
Went to "You Tiao Da Wang" instead.
Ordered 2 bowls of taiwan mee sua, 10 'xiao long baos' (is it known as steam dumplings? I can't actually remember) and a egg-porkfloss shao bin. *seems like my fats are going to grow rapidly in me again... =.=

No where to go after that...we went down to meet sharon and the rest at Westcoast Park MacCafe.
I thought i would just be another night, sitting around a table with all the drinks and chat among ourselves...but unknowingly, it turns out to be a fun-filling & sweaty night at the park.
I felt like we were going back into the childhood times...where we used to mingle around with our friends at the playground, running about, playing around crazily..sweating & panting.....and yup..that's what we actually did that night. It was fun though! Totally just being crazy, childish and aggressive w/o any worries.
Forgot to take pics while we were playing with this particular recreational equipment which made up sweat like hell, pant like pink-panther & laugh as loudly as hyena...

Description of the recreational equipment we played:
It is round in shape that is hold up by a springy coil. It can tilted easily downwards just by any heavy weights or force applied on it.
How we played it:
Everyone will stand on it with our hands tightly hold on to the handle bar and try to push n pull from left to right, up & down. The intention is to push anyone out of it. Winner will be the one left behind.

Haha...it was fun..didn't intend to play at the start because i was wearing heels but the temptation can't stop me from joining in the fun.
Went over to the pyramid after that...climb up & up like monkeys...
We managed to take some pics these time..hee..felt like an old children at that time :p

-They were scared..while we were enjoying..haa!
